The Stories We Tell (And Those Untold): Using Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Counter-Storytelling in Research and Practice
Do you want to better understand the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT)? This session provides an in-depth overview of the five (5) main tenets of CRT and discusses how Critical Race Theory can be used as a tool to improve health professions education and academic medicine learning environments.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Define critical race theory (CRT), provide an overview of its key tenets, and discuss its relevance within academic medicine from both a practitioner and researcher perspective.
- Discuss counter-storytelling from the CRT lens and provide key functions for employing this approach as researchers and practitioners.
