
Lesson 8: How Health Services Research Can Shape Health Policy and Advance Health Equity
This lesson is designed to prepare learners to apply an equity and community-based lens to health services research and understand how health services research can shape policy.
Target Audience
This course is designed for healthcare providers including MD, PA, NP, nurses, rehabilitation specialists (OT, PT, SLP), public health professionals, pharmacists as well as researchers. In addition, students and community members who are interested in health services research are able to participate in this course.

- Describe the role of health policy in addressing the health inequities that fuel health disparities
