Lesson 6: Health Services Research Funding

Within this lesson, you will be introduced to funding resources for your Health Services Research (HSR) initiatives. 

Target Audience

This course is designed for healthcare providers including MD, PA, NP, nurses, rehabilitation specialists (OT, PT, SLP), public health professionals, pharmacists as well as researchers. In addition, students and community members who are interested in health services research are able to participate in this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Discuss funding mechanisms for Health Service Researchers.
  • Identify organizations and funders who prioritize HSR and your personal research agenda.
  • Familiarize yourself with funding cycle activities.
  • Locate resources to assist with grant writing.
