The 2020 Epilepsy Board Review and Best Practices Course (EBR) has transitioned from an in-person event to a virtual symposium.

Epilepsy Board Review is a 3-day comprehensive course designed to prepare physicians planning to certify in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.’s Epilepsy Board Examination.

Learning Objectives

 
At the close of the course, participants will demonstrate an increased competency in:
 
  1. Antiepileptic medications;
  2. Indications and outcome of epilepsy surgery;
  3. Genetics of epilepsy;
  4. Psychosocial aspects of epilepsy;
  5. Classification of epilepsy and seizures;
  6. EEG in epilepsy and encephalopathy;
  7. Intracranial EEG and brain mapping; and
  8. Brain imaging in epilepsy.
