Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Symposium

March 5, 2021 to March 7, 2021
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Symposium
This course will analyze the medical evidence surrounding hormone therapies while learning from actively practicing instructors and specialty lecturers. Sessions will allow participants to gain the information needed to safely and effectively merge hormone therapies into practice. While the traditional medical view of aging focuses on its inevitable complications and a steady decline in quality of life, this therapy functions as a means of relieving—and even preventing—many symptoms. Lectures will specifically focus on allowing participants to integrate and implement hormone protocols into practice upon return to the office Monday morning.

In addition, she specializes in aesthetic, anti-aging and regenerative medicine. She is an Associate Professor at Stanford University Department of Surgery, Division of Emergency Medicine. She is an affiliate Faculty & Clinical Professor for the University of California at Davis, Irvine and San Francisco campus' Hospital. She also trains and acts as a medical advisor and instructor in cosmetic and trauma skin care. Dr. Barrett completed her residency and internship at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Medical and Trauma Center. She received her Medical Degree from Michigan State University.

Dian Ginsberg, MD, FACOG

Dr. Ginsberg completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Bowman-Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina before Houston’s sunny climate and the world renowned Medical Center brought her to Texas. Dr. Ginsberg has broad and deep experience providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology treatment, which is the basis of her special interest in optimizing methylation and prenatal genetics.
As an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for over twenty years, Dr. Ginsberg has witnessed many negative trends in the health and wellness of the general patient population. She has become most concerned about the increasing levels of toxicity observed in both men and women of preconception age, which seems to be coupled with less awareness surrounding the importance of genetic health, diet, and lifestyle in preconception and pregnancy. These evolving negative trends have resulted in her integrating functional medicine into a clinical setting, while still ‘delivering babies’. With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Ginsberg has created ways to combine the research and benefits of functional medicine into practical strategies to share with practitioners that treat women in preconception and pregnancy. Her goal is to empower practitioners and patients with the knowledge that can have a profound effect on future fertility, and improve the health of future generations.
Dr. Ginsberg finds time to leverage her knowledge of functional wellness into all aspects of her life. As a black belt in Tae Kwan Do, an Ironman Triathlete, and an accomplished Boston marathon runner, she is involved in exploring the latest medical advances in wellness for athletes along with anti-aging therapies for both men and women. Dr. Ginsberg is the mother of two sons with learning differences, and the benefits they have experienced using nutritional therapies is one of her prime motivators to continue research in nutritional and alternative medical therapies.
Dr. Ginsberg is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Harris County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ginsberg is on staff at Memorial Hermann Hospital and Park Plaza Hospital in Houston. She is additionally Board Certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, and has completed an Advanced Fellowship with the Metabolic Medical Institute.

Sara Gottfried, MD

Dr. Gottfried is a board-certified gynecologist and physician-scientist. She graduated from Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed residency at the University of California at San Francisco. Over the past two decades, Dr. Gottfried has seen more than 25,000 patients, and specializes in identifying the underlying cause of her patients’ conditions to achieve true and lasting health transformations, not just symptom management. She is more likely to test her patient’s DNA and next generation biomarkers, and then prescribe a customized protocol, using primarily food (not drugs) plus other proven lifestyle interventions to optimize the gene/environment interface. It’s not one method fits all. It’s not disease-centered. It’s not fix-’em-up-and-send-’em-home. It’s a mission to transform healthcare, one patient at a time.
Dr. Gottfried is a global keynote speaker who practices evidence-based integrative, precision, and functional medicine. Her three New York Times bestselling books include: The Hormone Cure, The Hormone Reset Diet, and her latest, Younger: A Breakthrough Program to Reset Your Genes, Reverse Aging, and Turn Back the Clock 10 Years.
