2026 GI Board Review and Best Practices Course On-Demand
August 29, 2026 to August 31, 2026
The William M. Steinberg Board Review in Gastroenterology and Best Practices Course is designed for fellows, and post- fellowship physicians preparing to take their Certifying or Recertifying board exam and/ or for those who desire a comprehensive review and current update of gastroenterology. In addition, nurse practitioners and physician assistants working in a GI practice will find this course appropriate for their educational needs.
A faculty of expert clinicians from around the country will emphasize up-to-date information (including current national GI/hepatology society guidelines) supplemented with board –type questions. Audience participation is encouraged with the use of our new Audience Response System (ARS). The review will include information on the diagnosis and management of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, pancreas, biliary tree, and liver.
The enduring activity is offered in video and audio format.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply current evidence-based guidelines to clinical decision-making in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepatologic diseases
- Integrate patient-specific clinical data with emerging evidence to inform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic strategies
- Differentiate among gastrointestinal disease processes and select appropriate evaluation and management approaches for complex presentations
- Formulate evidence-based management plans for acute and chronic GI conditions, including prevention and management of complications
- Incorporate current standards of care in the evaluation and management of gastrointestinal malignancies and hereditary syndromes
- Apply clinical reasoning in case-based scenarios to support accurate diagnosis and appropriate patient management
