John Schreiber, MD, FAES
I completed Pediatrics and Child Neurology training at Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) in in 2011. Before returning to CNMC in 2013, I served as an Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), involved in clinical epilepsy research and as a pediatric epilepsy consultant for the Clinical Center and the Undiagnosed Disease Program. At Children’s National I am the Medical Director of Electroencephalography and Director of the Epilepsy Genetics Clinic. I am the Principal Investigator at Children’s National several clinical trials and observational studies in epilepsy, primarily the "channelopathies." My primary clinical and research interests are in the evaluation management of epilepsy, specifically in rare genetically-mediated epilepsies.
