Brian P. Brooks, MD, PhD is a board-certified ophthalmologist (with subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology), as well as a board-certified clinical geneticist.  His clinical and basic science research programs at the National Eye Institute focus on inherited eye diseases, particularly those that affect children.
