Marc Garbey received his PHD in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon (1984) and a Habilitation à diriger des recherches, which is the equivalent of full professorship from the University of Lyon (1989).
Professor Garbey’s work covers multiple aspects of computational science in physics, chemistry, biology and ecology. In the last 10 years his interest has shifted to medicine and surgery thanks to a long term collaboration with our own dean of medicine Dr. Barbera Bass in general surgery and S.
