Khalil Ghanem is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at the Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research interests include syphilis and the vaginal microbiome. He is president-elect of the American STD Association.
