Week 3: Creating an Affirming Environment for SGM Patients

This week, after building an understanding of bias and how it can impact our interactions, we will discuss tangible ways to cultivate a welcoming and affirming environment for LGBTQ patients. Strategies will primarily be explored through a case study on Mount Sinai Hospital System’s initiatives in this realm.
