The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized this course to offer up to 2.867 CEUs or 28.67 Category 1 contact hours for this activity. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.
 
To receive CEUs, you must:
 
  • Pass the post test for each session attended with a grade of 70% or higher.
  • Complete the session evaluation for each session attended.

This activity has been approved for a maximum of 28 SDMS CME Credits.
 
To receive SDMS CME credit, you must:
 
  • Pass the post test for each session attended with a grade of 70% or higher.
  • Complete the session evaluation for each session attended.
After completing the session evaluation:
 
Your SDMS CME Credit will be automatically recorded in the system, and you will be given the option to:
 
  • Return to the course to complete the session quiz and view additional sessions, or
  • Complete the overall activity evaluation and attest that you have completed all of the sessions and are ready to have your participation reported to the SDMS CME Tracker System.

Other Healthcare Professionals

 
Professions not included in the above groups will receive a Certificate of Participation. Many professional licensing and credentialing bodies accept Certificates of Participation from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
