2026 Food for Life Training Course
On behalf of The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the 2026 Food for Life Training Course prepares medical professionals to deliver the award-winning Food for Life nutrition and cooking classes that were designed by physicians, nurses, and dietitians. The training is an 8-week self-paced, online course that equips graduates to deliver in-person and online Food for Life classes to their patients and/or community members. Content is provided on-demand, with weekly required live Zoom sessions and additional optional sessions for networking and office hours. The Physicians Committee team and experienced Food for Life instructors provide guidance and support throughout the training course and beyond. Registration includes the following: Up to 23 continuing education credits, networking opportunities with speakers and other participants, and access to health and wellness industry leaders with information to strengthen nutrition education across the medical education and healthcare continuum.
