Dissecting the Past:  Uncovering the Hidden History of Cadaveric Dissection

Learning Objectives:  

1. We will analyze the historical context and ethical implications of cadaveric dissection in medical education through exploring the disturbing, racist, and exploitative practices of body procurement.

2. We will evaluate the process of body donation to medical institutions, including the motivations behind donation, the regulatory loopholes, and the ethical considerations involved in order to propose improvements for a more respectful and transparent system
