Learning Objectives:  

   1.How obesity and maternal morbidity and mortality are closely linked

  2.Name new medications that are now available and achievement of 10% and more weight loss is possible with lifestyle and medication

  3.Understand how treatment of PCOS affects fertility outcomes

  4. Have a greater knowledge of how weight loss improves other disease comorbidities such as PCOS, sleep apnea, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, etc., which may also affect reproductive health

  5.How Obesity affects risk factors for maternal morbidities such as PIH, gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia
