Biography:
Dr. Eman is specialized in Electrodiagnosis & Neuromuscular Ultrasound (NMUS) with eight years of experience in neuromuscular ultraosund. She received her neuromuscular ultrasound training mainly in the United States as well as in Europe and finished Neuromuscular Ultrasound mini fellowship at the Neurology Department, Wake Forest School of Medicine, North Carolina in 2014.
Dr. Eman is the pioneer of Neuromuscular Ultrasound in Egypt and is a national & international neuromuscular ultrasound tutor/speaker.
Dr. Eman has several publications in NMUS field including the guidelines for neuromuscular ultrasound training, consensus-based recommendations for neuromuscular ultrasound competency assessment, and ‘Pediatric Neuromuscular Ultrasound’ chapter in the ‘Pediatric Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography’ textbook-Springer. She is also a co-author in the first evidence-based paper on the indications for NMUS. Dr. Eman serves as a reviewer for Nerve & Muscle, Clinical Neurophysiology, Clinical Neurophysiology Practice, Neurophysiologie Clinique, and is an editorial board member in the Egyptian Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Journal.
In 2018, she founded the Egyptian Neuromuscular Ultrasound Society and is currently the president of the society.
