Biography: 

Dr Amal Abu Libdeh is an assistant professor of Pediatric neurology at the University of Virginia, and she specializes in Pediatric Movement Disorders. Dr Abu Libdeh is originally from Jordan, and she graduated from Jordan University, and she moved to the US in 2011. She did her Pediatric residency at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, Fl. She then moved to Virginia and joined UVA where she did her Pediatric Neurology training and her Pediatric Movements Disorders fellowship. She joined faculty at UVA upon graduation in 2017 and has since established the Pediatric Movement Disorders Clinic and the Tourette's clinic. Her areas of interest include motor stereotypies and dystonia.
