By the end of the year-long health services research journal club series, participants will be able to: 

• Critically appraise health services research articles to identify key questions, methods, strengths, limitations, and implications for practice (knowledge/competence). ​
• Discuss and compare GWU and external institutional research to identify opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and system-level improvement (competence/performance). ​
• Apply evidence-based insights from journal club discussions to propose concrete strategies for improving patient care delivery and outcomes within their practice settings (competence/performance). ​ 
• Develop and refine actionable plans over the series to implement selected strategies, including identifying barriers, facilitators, and measures to track change in practice (performance/patient outcomes).
