The GW Cancer Center Oncology Patient Navigator Training: The Fundamentals Introduction is a 20 minute lesson to help explain how the training was developed, explain the required parts of the training and how to use it and lists the different competencies associated with each lesson. Patient Navigation competencies are a foundational part of this training. The introduction explains how the compentencies were developed, which guided the training construction and also describes how the training relates to the CMS required competency areas. There are 14 lessons included in this training. Before each section there is a pre-lesson evaluation to measure your confidence concerning the teachings in the lesson. After each section there is a multiple choice question quiz and post-lesson evaluation.
