Building on conversations started at this year’s Health meets Food: The Culinary Medicine Conference, the ACCM is convening experts in the field to offer further insight into the history, implementation, public health implications, and innovations in the school lunch program.

Learning Objectives
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the history and political implications of school lunch programs.
2. Discuss the ramifications of school lunch programs on public health initiatives.
3. Describe the challenges round regulations that impact implementation of school lunch programs.
4. Explain innovative strategies that are currently being deployed for healthier and fresher meals in school lunch programs.

In accordance with The Standards for Integrity and Independence, GW requires all planners, faculty, and others in control of educational content to disclose the absence or existence of all financial relationships (of any dollar amount) with any ineligible companies within the past 24 months.
