Overview
The Center for Faculty Excellence Health Professions Educators Series is a comprehensive faculty development program that supports excellence in teaching, educational leadership, scholarship, and lifelong professional growth among physicians and other health professions educators. The series includes a diverse range of educational offerings, including Departmental Workshops, Education Grand Rounds, Clinicians as Educators, Scientists as Educators, and other educational activities developed in response to evolving needs in health professions education.
Through interactive and evidence-informed learning experiences, participants develop practical skills in adult learning, curriculum and educational activity design, learner assessment and feedback, interprofessional education, and educational scholarship. Sessions also explore strategies for fostering learner engagement, advancing educational leadership, promoting career development, and translating educational and clinical research into improvements in teaching, learning, professional practice, and patient care.
By bringing together educators from across disciplines, the series fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in health professions education while supporting the preparation of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
