At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
1) Explain when transplant recipients are at risk of red cell aplasia and how antibodies are involved 
2) Describe how TPE affected antibody titers and hemoglobin recovery
3) Summarize the TPE courses used in these two patients.
