At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
1) Compare preparations and risks of solvent/detergent-treated plasma and “regular” plasma from blood donors.
2) Describe the study protocol incorporating solvent/detergent-treated plasma for TPE.
3) Summarize the safety assessment including incidence of adverse events, thrombotic events, thromboembolic events.
