NeuroWellness: Advancing Brain Health Through Cutting-Edge Neuroscience

This comprehensive course will explore cutting-edge advancements in neuroplasticity, cognitive health,
neurodegenerative diseases, and related areas. Participants will gain practical, evidence-based tools to
improve patient care and stay at the forefront of developments in brain health. Key topics include
neuroplasticity and its clinical applications, emerging therapies for Alzheimer's and neurodegenerative
conditions, the impact of inflammation and gut health on brain function, and strategies for optimizing sleep and
cognitive health. Additionally, the workshop will cover the latest advancements in neuroimaging and their
integration into clinical practice.

Learning Objectives

 
After participating in this activity, learners will be able to:
 
  • Analyze current research on neuroplasticity and its impact on cognitive health, and evaluate the effectiveness of various neuroplasticity-based interventions in diverse patient populations, including those with neurodegenerative diseases and brain injuries.
  • Apply evidence-based anti-inflammatory strategies, including dietary interventions, lifestyle modifications, and pharmacological options, to mitigate inflammation and improve cognitive function in patients at risk of or experiencing cognitive decline.
  • Synthesize emerging neuroimaging technologies with current clinical guidelines, and evaluate their potential to improve patient outcomes, particularly in the diagnosis and monitoring of Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury, and other neurocognitive disorders.
