Overview
The RMC Faculty Development Series is designed to strengthen the professional development of RMC faculty by enhancing skills in educational scholarship, learner assessment, effective feedback, and the integration of artificial intelligence in medical education. Through evidence-based, interactive sessions, the series supports faculty in advancing their teaching effectiveness, scholarly productivity, and educational leadership.
Target Audience
Faculty members involved in graduate medical education at the Regional Medical Campus, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals who teach and mentor learners.
Learning Objectives
- Describe core principles and approaches to educational scholarship.
- Identify best practices for survey design and educational research.
- Apply formative assessment strategies to evaluate medical learners.
- Deliver specific, actionable, and learner-centered feedback.
- Integrate AI tools effectively and ethically into medical education practices.
