This Perinatal Conference is a multidisciplinary conference including members from general OB/GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), Genetics, and Neonatology. Other attendees include nursing and physician assistants who specialize in high risk pregnancy. This conference serves to review complex maternal, fetal, and neonatal cases with a monthly case review and focused topic. The educational content includes a review of current literature regarding antenatal diagnosis and management and neonatal course and outcomes surrounding the specific educational topic of the month (formal outline below). When appropriate, the MFM facilitators present prenatal ultrasound imaging to highlight pearls in fetal diagnosis and the Neonatology facilitators present postnatal imaging and discuss diagnosis confirmation and prognosis.
