Biography:
· Associate Professor of Medicine University of Maryland School of Medicine; Director of Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program; Co-Director University of Maryland ALS Treatment Center since 2008

· Fellowship, Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine, Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA
· Particular clinical and research interests in (i) sleep disordered breathing, (ii) treatment of chronic respiratory failure with noninvasive ventilation, (iii) evaluation and management of respiratory disorders in neuromuscular disease including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and (iv) weaning and long-term management of invasive mechanical ventilation with tracheostomy.
