At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
1) Describe apheresis connection when using arterial line as inlet and intravenous line as return 
2) List complications that can occur with arterial lines (e.g., bleeding, clotting, pause in monitoring)
3) Summarize patient population, success rate, and complications described by authors
4) Explain concerns about instituting this protocol at our hospital
