THE PEDIATRIC BRAIN AND RESILIENCE SUMMIT
The early years of a child's life are very important for later health and development. One of the main reasons is how fast the brain grows starting before birth and continuing into early childhood. Although the brain continues to develop and change, the initial years can build a foundation for future health, learning and life success.

Learning Objectives
After participating in this activity, learners will be able to:
- Review various lifestyle interventions including diet that can be incorporated into an integrative, whole-body care approach to improve quality of life and prevent and improve brain resilience.
- Identify lifestyle, diagnostic testing assessments and advances successful in pediatric brain health interventions.
- Discuss the roles of lifestyle, nutrition and stress reducers as it pertains to pediatric brain health, immunity, environment, the gut, and the microbiome.
- Identify strategies to address common barriers to care for successful pediatric patient outcomes and changes in nutrition and lifestyle environments.
