Biography:
Dr. Luber is a Cognitive Neuroscientist who received his PhD from New York University, using magnetoencephalopgraphy (MEG) to study brain mechanisms of visual attention. He was formerly an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University, and then an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Duke University, before taking his present position of Staff Scientist in the Noninvasive Neuromodulation Unit in the NIMH in Bethesda. For the last 25 years, he has used non-invasive brain stimulation, primarily TMS, to study cognition and executive function in health and disease, especially in the use of TMS to treat depression.
