Medicine Grand Rounds feature weekly topic and case-based presentations designed to provide faculty and trainees with up-to-date knowledge about timely issues in internal medicine.
 
Learning Objectives:
    1. To provide a general introduction to the concepts of aging and longevity and why research on this topic is important.
    2. To provide an overview of the underlying molecular mechanisms of aging and longevity in animal models and in humans.
    3. To describe the ethnic and geographic differences in the social, functional, and biological markers of aging, with an objective to strive towards health equity by potentially identifying intervenable targets to facilitate healthy aging.
