Medicine Grand Rounds feature weekly topic and case-based presentations designed to provide faculty and trainees with up-to-date knowledge about timely issues in internal medicine.
 
Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify key drivers of the geriatric emergency department initiative and recognize essential domains for geriatric emergency department accreditation
  2. Recognize that there is a national movement embracing recognized excellence in the complex care of older adults across the health continuum
  3. Understand that the geriatric emergency department initiative seeks to identify persons at high risk negative health outcomes related to intrinsic and extrinsic factors and incentivize initiatives that ensure quality health care delivery for vulnerable persons across care systems.
