Learning Objectives:

1. To provide an overview of infertility and its prevalence in women’s health, with a focus on the medical and procedural aspects of in vitro fertilization (IVF).

 

2. To examine the psychological impact of infertility and IVF, highlighting associations with mood disorders, stress, and their impact during the pre-pregnancy and postpartum period. 

 

3. To explore resources, interventions, and coping strategies for supporting patients and families in managing the mental health challenges associated with infertility and IVF.
