Apply the 2025 ACC/AHA blood pressure classification, treatment thresholds, and systolic BP goals to accurately diagnose hypertension and individualize treatment decisions across diverse adult patient populations.
Integrate evidence-based strategies for hypertension management, including lifestyle interventions, first-line pharmacologic therapy, and risk-based treatment intensification, with special attention to resistant hypertension and high-risk subgroups.
Implement updated management approaches for severe hypertension and hypertensive emergencies, including appropriate triage, ICU admission criteria, and safe BP-lowering targets to reduce cardiovascular, renal, and neurologic complications.
