  1. Describe the principles, indications, and limitations of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and its integration into clinical decision-making across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  2. Apply POCUS findings to common internal medicine scenarios to enhance diagnostic accuracy, procedural safety, and bedside management.

Microgravity, Macro Changes: Physiologic Changes in Space

  1. Explain the major physiologic adaptations to microgravity across cardiovascular, pulmonary, musculoskeletal, and neurovestibular systems and their clinical implications.
  2. Analyze how physiologic changes observed in microgravity can inform understanding of disease processes and patient care on Earth, including deconditioning, fluid shifts, and bone loss.
