Dr. Michelle Oboite received her medical degree (MD) from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her pre-residency fellowship in dermatology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, her dermatology residency at Medstar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital, and her post-residency fellowship in dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She currently practices both adult and pediatric dermatology as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania and Clinical Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her clinical interests are in scalp and hair disorders with a special focus on scarring alopecias.
