In observance of World Breastfeeding Week, the DC Breastfeeding Coalition and DC Health are hosting a Webinar with internationally recognized experts from major health organizations to discuss the current evidence and recommendations for breastfeeding in the wake of COVID-19.
Target Audience
This webinar is intended for any health professional caring for new parents and their infants.
Learning Objectives
After the session, attendees will be able to:
1. describe the current and emerging evidence for guidance about breastfeeding in the early postpartum period for COVID-19 positive and patients under investigation (PUI), and
2. apply evidence to facilitate shared decision making with families around breastfeeding.
