The instructional material presented here addresses important issues related to medication prescribing in a non-commercial and independent fashion. Program modules represented here are certified for continuing medical and pharmacy education and are free of charge to DC licensed physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals; and, at minimal cost to those not licensed in Washington, DC.  We hope that you enjoy these learning experiences and that they bring you opportunities for personal growth and learning in your practice.

What's Our Next Module?

Medication errors are an important challenge to patient safety and all health care professionals have a role in preventing them. In developing our next module, we want to hear about your experiences – the common errors you encounter – and ideas you have to solve them.  For example, do you encounter product labeling issues, electronic prescribing issues, work flow challenges that lead to errors?  Share your ideas on common medication errors by clicking here

DCRx is presented on behalf of DC Health under contract to Innovation Horizons LLC which is solely responsible for its content.
